Job Description

* Required field. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist to join our client's team on a temporary basis for at least the next 2-3 months. This role is fully remote and supports payroll processing for a mid-sized employee population using UKG (formerly UltiPro). Prior experience with UKG required. Immediate start required due to an upcoming transition in the payroll department. *Please note that this remote individual must reside in WI, IL, MN, NC, PA, TX, GA, or FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately process biweekly payroll for approximately 600 hourly and salaried employees using UKG software. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. Maintain payroll records and resolve discrepancies as needed. Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll in a timely and professional manner. Support payroll reporting, audits, and reconciliations. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED UKG (UltiPro) experience is required. Previous experience processing multi-state payroll.
