The company is growing rapidly and needs a skilled leader to own the QFS program. The Role: You will be the key authority on Quality and Food Safety at a fast-paced manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Plant Manager and dotted line to the Director of QFS, your focus will be building trust, maintaining certifications, and staying ahead of regulators and auditors. This role aims to develop a world-class QFS culture that sets a standard for other sites globally. What You’ll Be Doing: Lead and motivate the QFS team to ensure excellence. Manage food safety and quality systems (GFSI, SQF, HACCP, GMP, FDA). Represent the company during audits and ensure compliance. Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives. Collaborate with Production, Procurement, R&D, and Logistics to embed quality into all operations. Conduct internal audits, manage documentation, traceability, mock recalls, and food defense protocols. Who You Are: Experienced in food manufacturing with 5–10 years in QFS roles. Familiar with SQF, BRC, FSSC 22000, HACCP, FDA, USDA standards and audits. Proven leadership skills and passion for team development. Bold, proactive, and committed to high standards and accountability. Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
