Opportunity: Board Certified - OphthalmologistThis locum tenens opportunity is ideal for an experienced Ophthalmologist specializing in Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) assessments in a neonatal setting. The position offers flexible scheduling with both remote work and in-person examination components.
Job Details:• Practice setting is exclusively Level III NICU inpatient care
• Evaluate 3-5 neonates weekly for ROP assessment
• Remote reading capabilities with in-person exams once weekly
• 100% of practice focused on neonatal care
• Support from NNP in the unit who handles imaging and neonatologist available on-site
• EPIC EMR system in use throughout the facility
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is 2-3 months
• Photo interpretation required
• Board Certification required (board eligible candidates considered)
• Active Michigan license or Active IMLC LOQ required
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Travel accommodations include flight, hotel (with $200/night rate cap), rental car, and mileage reimbursement
